117th Foundation Day!

Ilocos Sur National High School celebrates the 117th Foundation Day last March 1 and 2. This celebration happens every year. This is the most awaited part of the school year because the teachers and the students were given a time to show their own talents by the field demonstration.

Image may contain: one or more people, people dancing, people standing and outdoorFoundation Day’s celebration were divided into two parts: 1st part of this celebration is the coronation of Mr. and Ms. ISNHS and the 2nd part is the field demonstration wherein us, students practice and prepare for this kind of celebration. Mr. and Ms. ISNHS was participated by selected students every grade year level. March 2 morning, all ISNHS students and teachers including the Mr. and Ms. ISNHS and their princes and princesses parade around Vigan City. In the afternoon, the guests, students and the students were assembled again for the field demonstration. Before the field demonstration, students practiced for that day together with the MAPEH teachers. The field demonstration were participated by all the students from grade 7 boys to grade 12 girls. All pf the performances was amazing but the best performer was the grade 8 boys and grade 8 girls. The students gave their own best but the grade 8 students stand out that day.

The celebration is amazing and all of us enjoy the performances brought by the students. During this kind of celebration it would be the best if there a lot of activities like having different booths so that everyone will be happier. But all in all it was pretty good and it is a great day to enjoy the Foundation Day.

OVARIAN CANCER

  OVARIAN CANCER   Ovarian cancer is the 8th most prevalent disease in women worldwide and the 7th most common cancer overall.   I.  BACKGROUD: With 5,395 new cases reported in 2020, it is the fifth most common kind of cancer in women in the Philippines. It is the 7th highest cause of cancer mortality in the nation, having been responsible . According to studies, ovarian cancer is the primary cause of cancer-related fatalities among women. More people have passed away from it than from any other cancer of the female reproductive system. Older women seem to develop this type of cancer the most. Ovarian cancer is diagnosed in more than half of women aged 63 or older. Ovarian growths are occasionally identified in women under the age of 30, and the majority of them are benign cysts filled with fluid. Ovarian cancer has a 49% five-year overall survival rate. This indicates that, five years after diagnosis, roughly 49% of ovarian cancer patients are still living. II....
