The month of July is the month where we celebrate the "Nutrition Month". The theme of this celebration is "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin", it focuses on how it is important to plant. Nutrition Month shows how the fruit and vegetables are important to our body and how to achieve a healthy lifestyle. This is to promote the worth of our beloved farmers who sacrifice their day to plant the foods. But we, people do not see their worth in everday life. They always set aside the farmers that are always there to give the foods that we intake.

Others are telling that farming is just a dirt but did they ever think that farmers are the source of the food that we intake? The foods have that nutrients that can help our body to function. That's why we should always eat fruits and vegetables. We should plant more foods not because you are just a student, you don't have right to plant and planting in our backyards help in gaining fresh fruits and vegetables. Planting in our backyards also help in lessening the use of chemicals that are used in farming. So it is more safe if you plant in your backyard. Planting is always the solution in taking care of the environment and it can also help in saving money.

"Being a farmer means shaking hands with nature". This quote explains that we should do farming because we should have the connection to the nature. Because planting is like you are shaking hands, just how we help each other. Planting fruits and vegetables so that we can achieve the life that we want. Do not always set aside farming. We should always thank the farmers in giving us the food. So plant now in your backyards.
