     Disaster resilience is the ability of countries, communities, and households to manage change by maintaining or transforming living standards in the face of shocks or stress- such as earthquakes, drought or violent conflict without compromising their long term prospects. Bakit importante ang wika sa atin? Ano kaya ang naibibigay nito sa atin? Nakatutulong ba ito? Lahat ba tayo ay alam kung bakit kailangan ang wika? Binubuhay ba ng ilan ang wikang ito? Ang Buwan ng Agosto ay ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika taon- taon. State of the Nation Address 2018

     Last July 23, 2018, the President had his third State of the Nation Address which he discusses all the problems that he encountered in his term. His speech is very important to us Filipinos because he can prove to everybody the accomplishments that he did. The speech that he delivered contains all the issues and the way he delivered is also nice because he discuss it very well.      During his speech, he discussed about war on drugs, corruption, environmental plans, Bangsamoro Organic Law, contractualization and many more.      The month of July is the month where we celebrate the "Nutrition Month". The theme of this celebration is "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin", it focuses on how it is important to plant. Nutrition Month shows how the fruit and vegetables are important to our body and how to achieve a healthy lifestyle. This is to promote the worth of our beloved farmers who sacrifice their day to plant the foods. But we, people do not see their worth in everday life. They always set aside the farmers that are always there to give the foods that we intake.        Others are telling that farming is just a dirt but did they ever think that farmers are the source of the food that we intake? The foods have that nutrients that can help our body to function. That's why we should always eat fruits and vegetables.
